coveredcaSan Bernardino County Transitional Assistance Department’s call centers are ready to answer the calls of residents seeking to enroll in Health Care Reform (HCR) Pre-Enrollment, part of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), beginning today, October 1.
Staff will receive Medi-Cal eligible phone calls transferred from Covered California to help to enroll residents in expanded Medi-Cal and other Health Care coverage options via the Covered California Exchange/Marketplace. Staff will handle inquiries by phone as well as lobby walk-ins regarding health care options.

  1. I need help , I have tried to join covered California insurance on jan 14 th. I was about to view my plan options and the website said I was unable to view and to call . I tried several times and to receive help on-line unable to receive help. I need to see a doctor. I was not able to pay 4 flu shot this season. I would still like to receive one. Please help me! I had medical earlier last year under IEHP.

    1. Hi Donna, try contacting Covered CA to obtain coverage at (800) 300-1506, or call us at 1-877-410-8829 and one of our agents can assist with connecting them. If you need more information about flu shots, call call the Communicable Disease Section at 1-800-722-4794 for locations.
