Candidate filing for the Nov. 5 General Election begins Monday, July 15 and continues through 5 p.m. on Aug. 9 at the San Bernardino County Registrar of Voters.

Over 300 local offices are up for election in San Bernardino County, including the County Assessor/Recorder, school district and special district boards and city offices.

At the time a person obtains candidacy documents, he or she must be a registered voter residing in the district and division/area for which they are running.

Citizens interested in running for office may obtain the appropriate candidacy documents from the San Bernardino County Registrar of Voters, 777 E. Rialto Avenue in San Bernardino, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Completed documents must be filed with the Registrar of Voters by 5 p.m. on Aug. 9.

Citizens interested in running for city offices must pick up and file their candidate filing documents at the appropriate city clerk’s office during regular business hours.
