On Halloween, Calico Ghost Town became the eerie backdrop for a unique and memorable wedding experience, as ten couples tied the knot in a special collaboration between the Assessor-Recorder-County Clerk’s office and San Bernardino County Regional Parks. The event, held in the historic ghost town, added a spooky flair to the couples’ big day, with the town’s old-west charm setting the stage for unforgettable ceremonies.

In addition to the Calico Ghost Town festivities, the county offered marriage services across multiple locations, with over 50 couples taking part in the Halloween wedding celebrations. The collaborative effort provided couples with the opportunity to say “I do” in a variety of themed settings, making this a special occasion for both couples and their guests.

“Kudos to Regional Parks and Team ARC for making this day truly special for all the couples,” stated Assessor-Recorder-County Clerk Chris Wilhite. “Your hard work and attention to detail ensured an unforgettable experience that will be cherished for years to come.”

The Calico Ghost Town weddings featured not only the scenic desert backdrop and historic mining town atmosphere, but also a touch of Halloween fun, complete with themed decorations and a costumed officiant. Couples were able to celebrate their love in a one-of-a-kind location, blending romance with a little bit of costume fun.

The Assessor-Recorder-County Clerk’s office and San Bernardino County Regional Parks are committed to providing couples with memorable and meaningful experiences on their wedding day with more destination weddings that highlight county landmarks to come.
