We would like to thank Bruce Herwig of Yucaipa for submitting spectacular photos of his favorite San Bernardino County destination.

The Mojave National Preserve, near Baker, is full of interesting sites to see including the Kelso Dunes, Hole-in-the-Wall Rings Trail, Mitchell Caverns and a natural cave made of lava that cooled over 1,000 years ago.

Other attractions include the Teutonia Peak Trail and the Mojave National Preserve’s Joshua Tree Forest. Visitors can also go hiking, biking, camping, horseback riding and more. Be sure to check it out!
