San Bernardino County will hold fiscal year 2025-26 budget presentations and public meetings beginning this month.

The Board of Supervisors encourages residents to participate in the development of San Bernardino County’s fiscal year 2025-26 budget. The budget presentations and public meetings will provide opportunities to learn about the county’s financial outlook and share input before the final FY 2025-26 budget is adopted.

Key dates in the budget process include:

  • March 25, 2025 – Budget overview
    The county’s chief financial officer will present the budget schedule and fiscal outlook to the board.
  • May 6, 2025 – Budget workshop and fiscal overview
     A preliminary budget presentation for FY 2025-26 will be given to the board.
  • May 20, 2025 – Budget book available
    The recommended budget book for FY 2025-26 will be delivered to the board and made available to the public at main.sbcounty.gov/about-cao/finance-budget.
  • June 10, 2025 – Budget hearing and adoption
    Residents will have the opportunity to provide comments on the recommended FY 2025-26 budget during the board meeting before the final budget is adopted.
  • December 2025 – Final budget book published
    The adopted FY 2025-26 budget book will be published.

Meeting dates and location

Board meetings are held in the Covington Chambers on the first floor of the County Government Center, located at 385 N. Arrowhead Ave. in San Bernardino.

Regular Board of Supervisors meetings are held on Tuesdays, per the adopted annual calendar of meetings and begin with a closed session at 9 a.m. and a public session at 10 a.m.

Videoconferencing sites 

For the Tuesday, March 25 meeting, alternate locations to address the board by interactive video will be available at the Bob Burke Joshua Tree Government Center, 63665 Twentynine Palms Highway in Joshua Tree, and the Jerry Lewis High Desert Government Center, 15900 Smoke Tree St. in Hesperia. These locations may be closed due to inclement weather, a technology failure or other unforeseen emergencies. If the sites will be closed, a notice will be posted at the sites by 9 a.m. on the day of the meeting.
