Diana Alexander

Diana Alexander retired last month after 32 years of service to the county and its residents. Before serving as an assistant executive officer, Alexander served as a deputy executive officer, director of Preschool Services, assistant director of Transitional Assistance, and as the county’s chief learning officer.

Also notable was Alexander’s work in partnering with Cal State San Bernardino in establishing a master’s in public administration cohort for county employees and her transformative work with the County Vision leadership team, including launching and leading the Equity Element Group.

“Diana was at the heart of an endless array of diverse initiatives that enriched the lives of countless San Bernardino County residents and employees over more than three decades,” Snoke said. “Compassionate and effective public service is her trademark and who she is. Diana has left a fine example for us to follow.”

“Diana, it has truly been a pleasure for all of us to work with you,” Board of Supervisors Chairman and Third District Supervisor Dawn Rowe said when the board honored Alexander during the March 25 board meeting. “We congratulate you on your years of service to the community.”
