Do you love San Bernardino County as much as we do?
San Bernardino County is inviting residents to submit short videos showcasing why they love living, working and exploring in San Bernardino County. The video that receives the most likes on San Bernardino County’s social media pages will win a special prize.
Last month, the county officially launched its “So Much to Love” campaign, which aims to promote community pride, celebrate the county’s diverse destinations, highlight the county’s commitment to quality public service, and build stronger connections with residents and employees.
The new campaign includes social media content and videos, stories in the County Update newsletter, an advertising campaign, and a dedicated landing page that offers information on county resources and family-friendly activities.
As a part of the So Much to Love campaign, we’re asking residents to submit short videos on what they love about San Bernardino County. Whether it’s a unique destination, a community event, a public space, a county service, a top employer or something else, we want to hear from you. Selected videos will be posted to the county’s Instagram, X, Facebook and TikTok pages. The video that receives the most likes will win a Regional Parks annual pass (this pass does not include Moabi, Lake Gregory or Calico).
Guidelines
- The video must be created by the individual that is submitting it.
- The video should be vertical (portrait orientation) with an aspect ratio of 9:16.
- The video should be between 15 and 30 seconds.
- The video must be submitted as an MP4 file with at least 720p resolution.
- As for video quality, please avoid recording in noisy places, try to stand close to the speaker, and make sure the lighting on the subject is not too dark.
- Avoid clothing with logos. Solid colors work best.
- You must say what you love about San Bernardino County on camera. Here’s a recommended script for your video: “There’s so much to love about San Bernardino County. I love…… (for the intro) and for the close, “And that’s why I love living/working/exploring in San Bernardino County.”
- By submitting your video to the county, you grant the county a royalty-free, non-exclusive, indefinite, right and license to use, publish, distribute, reproduce, live-stream, edit, record, post and digitize the video on any county social media, commercial marketing, sales, or in any other medium in any other form.
How to submit
We will accept submissions until July 10. Videos that do not meet the guidelines may not be shared on our platforms. If your video is selected, you will be notified by email. We will post all videos on July 25. The video that receives the most likes between July 25 and August 1 will win the prize. Ready to submit your video? Fill out our Google Form.
Results
If your video receives the most likes between July 25 and August 1, we will notify you by email and schedule a time for you to claim your prize. If you have any questions, please email somuchtolove@cao.sbcounty.gov.
