We would like to thank Heather Hill of Redlands for submitting spectacular photos of her favorite San Bernardino County destination.

San Gorgonio Mountain stands at 11,503 feet and can be hiked in a day or a multi-day backpacking trip. There are several trails that can lead you to the top of the mountain, but the most popular trails are Vivian Creek in Forest Falls and South Fork in Angelus Oaks. The trails are roughly 18-22 miles round trip with approximately 4,000 feet in elevation gain/loss. The views are spectacular! A hiking permit is required to hike in the San Gorgonio Wilderness. The permit is free and can be found at sgwa.org.
