We are proud to present the third episode of the Did You Know video series featuring Board of Supervisors Chairman and Third District Supervisor Dawn Rowe, who shares a fun fact about Esri, a company that’s leading the way in Geographic Information System technology.
Esri, based in Redlands, provides services to almost 700,000 organizations around the world, including San Bernardino County. In January 2025, San Bernardino County conducted its annual Homeless Point-in-Time Count (PITC) with enhanced precision and responsiveness, thanks to Esri’s advanced GIS technology.
By leveraging Esri’s technology, the county not only improved data accuracy, but also enhanced its ability to respond swiftly to the needs of the homeless community, demonstrating a comprehensive and compassionate approach to addressing homelessness.
