All child support customers in San Bernardino County can now connect virtually with a child support representative at select Transitional Assistance offices, eliminating the need to travel long distances to a child support office.
The program will be available at Transitional Assistance locations in Twentynine Palms, Barstow, Yucca Valley, Needles and Adelanto. Customers can visit these offices to meet face-to-face with a child support representative via webcam.
By offering this service, Child Support Services is increasing convenience and accessibility for families throughout the county. Leveraging existing Transitional Assistance offices and technology allows the department to bring services closer to where customers live, saving time and resources while maintaining the same high level of support and care.
Customers can visit participating Transitional Assistance locations during regular business hours to use the webcam service.
