San Bernardino County’s In-Home Supportive Services Public Authority (IHSS-PA) is calling on compassionate individuals to make a difference in their community. Whether you are interested in becoming an In-Home Supportive Services caregiver, serving as an urgent back-up provider, or expanding your caregiving skills, a variety of opportunities are available.

IHSS-PA plays a vital role in supporting older adults and individuals with disabilities by helping them remain longer and safely in their homes. Caregivers provide essential services that promote independence, dignity and quality of life for some of the county’s most vulnerable residents.

In a recent interview with Inland Empire Alive, IHSS-PA Executive Director Roxanne Young highlights the growing demand for caregivers, the qualities that make a successful provider, and the training opportunities available through San Bernardino County.

In addition to employment opportunities, IHSS-PA will host its second annual Caregiver Training Summit on Wednesday, April 8, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the DoubleTree Hotel in Ontario, offering valuable training, resources and support for both new and experienced caregivers. To register for the summit, call 1-866-985-6322.
