Recent wildfires across San Bernardino County are a powerful reminder of how quickly emergencies can happen.
The county’s Telephone Emergency Notification System (TENS) sends emergency alerts directly to your phone, such as evacuation warnings and evacuation orders for your area.
Whether it’s time to get ready or leave immediately, TENS ensures you receive the alert quickly so you can take action. Signing up is free, easy, and one of the most important steps you can take to prepare.
In addition to registering for TENS, make sure your family has a go-bag with essential supplies, an emergency communication plan, and keep your vehicle ready by maintaining at least a half tank of gas and storing an emergency kit inside.
Visit oes.sbcounty.gov/stay-informed to sign up and take the first step toward being disaster-ready.
