Oro Grande Park has long been a gathering place for families, friends and neighbors. Today, thanks to San Bernardino County Special Districts, that space has been transformed into a revitalized, modern park designed to serve the community for generations to come.
The completion of the Community Service Area (CSA) 42 Oro Grande Park Revitalization Project marks a significant investment in the well-being and quality of life of Oro Grande residents. New playground and fitness equipment now encourage healthy, active lifestyles for all ages, while the resurfaced and restriped basketball court invites renewed recreation and friendly competition.
Accessibility and safety were key priorities. ADA-compliant walkways improve access throughout the park and upgraded lighting enhances visibility and security. New irrigation and landscaping systems support sustainability while creating a welcoming environment.
The addition of picnic tables, barbecue grills, shade structures and updated site furnishings makes the park more comfortable and functional for everyday use and special gatherings.
More than just an upgrade, this revitalization represents a renewed commitment to community connection, inclusiveness and pride. The improved park stands as a vibrant, multi-generational space where residents can come together, stay active and build lasting memories, strengthening Oro Grande for years to come.
