Purpose
The Treasury Oversight Committee provides independent oversight of the County’s pooled investment portfolio by reviewing and monitoring the Treasurer’s annual Statement of Investment Policy and investment reports, and by ensuring an annual audit is conducted to evaluate the County Treasury’s compliance with applicable state law, including portfolio structure and risk.

Committee Members
The San Bernardino County Treasury Oversight Committee consists of five members: a representative appointed by the Board of Supervisors, the County Superintendent of Schools or their designee, and three members of the public. Public members are nominated by the Auditor-Controller/Treasurer/Tax Collector and confirmed by the Board of Supervisors.
