Don’t miss the Inland Empire Manufacturers’ Council 3rd Annual Summit on February 21 in Ontario. The San Bernardino County Workforce Investment Board has been a 
proud partner of the council since it was founded in 2005. This partnership reflects the tenants of the County’s Vision by providing support to manufacturers and finding solutions for issues including: employment and training, research, regulatory compliance, import and export, and funding. The council provides a strong, unified voice when communicating with regional, state and national entities on issues impacting the region. The council seeks to improve the competitiveness of manufacturers by enhancing the knowledge and skills of the employees in their respective organizations, and improving the quality of the applicants in the community, through collaborative regional workforce development. There should be more such efforts by the government or reputed organizations to help improve the local economy.
