bugsmuseumExperience a hands-on adventure into the world of bugs at the Victor Valley Museum during Bug Fest, Saturday, August 9, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Bug Fest activities are included with museum general admission.

Families can explore the world of arthropods—insects, spiders, and crustaceans—with insect games, insect stories and activities, and creepy-crawly craft creations to take home. Peer through microscopes, explore for insects in the museum garden, and learn some amazing facts in the Believe It or Not bug trivia game.

“We will also have special guest insects coming to us from the Exploration Station at the County Museum in Redlands,” said Rhonda Almager, the Victor Valley Museum’s facilities manager. “These critters take special care and handling, so it’s a real treat to be able to meet them up close and personal.”
