Citizens interested in running for school district and special district offices may pick up and file candidate filing documents at the Hesperia Branch Library from noon to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 3. Appointments for candidate filing are not required, but highly recommended.
Candidate filing for the Nov. 8 Presidential General Election began on Monday, July 18 and continues through 5 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 12 during normal business hours at the San Bernardino County Elections Office.
The off-site candidate filing location in Hesperia is being provided on Aug. 3 to assist potential candidates who may have difficulties traveling to the Elections Office.
The Elections Office is at 777 E. Rialto Ave. in San Bernardino.
The Hesperia Branch Library is at 9650 7th Ave. in Hesperia.
Completed candidate filing documents must be filed by 5 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 12. To schedule a candidate filing appointment at either location, call (909) 387-8300.
