Regional Parks is excited to host a special nighttime summer event at Calico Ghost Town in Yermo on Monday, June 26 from 8 – 10 p.m. for campfire stories and s’mores in the campground amphitheater.

This is a great opportunity for the entire family or group of friends to gather under the stars at an historical and legendary old Western silver mining town from the 1880s for a campfire experience coupled with an all-time favorite camping treat.

Visitors who attend are encouraged to dress comfortably and bring items such as chairs, blankets and/or your own refreshments. All ages and leashed pets welcome. Admission is $10 per vehicle and free for those camping with us. S’mores are included with admission and will be available while supplies last. Summer Days park event at Glen Helen filled with games, arts and crafts
On Tuesday, June 27 from 1 to 4:30 p.m., join us at Glen Helen Regional Parks for an afternoon of games and arts and crafts. All ages welcome.

Guasti Regional Park celebrates National Bomb Pop Day
On Thursday, June 29 beginning at 11 a.m., Guasti Regional Park will be handing out free bomb pops to all park visitors, while supplies last. National Bomb Pop Day is celebrated on the last Thursday of June every year. The iconic ice pop with the recognizable trio of red, white, and blue gets its name due to its rocket shape, which is also reminiscent of star-shaped fireworks — a perfect treat just in time for the Fourth of July. All ages welcome.
