San Bernardino County’s Animal Care shelters in Devore and Big Bear are participating in the annual Clear the Shelters pet adoption event — a nationwide campaign to find homes for animals in need.
During the month of August, pet adoptions at the Devore and Big Bear Animal Shelters will be $30. All pets come spayed/neutered, microchipped, and receive most vaccines. There is a limit of two adoptions per family at reduced prices. The Animals aRe First Fund (ARFF) is sponsoring the pet adoption fees for dogs/cats adopted during this month-long campaign.
The national campaign is spearheaded locally by NBCUniversal-owned television stations that partner with hundreds of shelters and rescues across the country to promote pet adoptions. Animal shelters throughout San Bernardino County are participating in the national adoption effort.
