The San Bernardino County Department of Public Health (DPH) is inviting the community to celebrate National Health Center Week at four health centers in Adelanto, Hesperia, Ontario and San Bernardino, beginning Monday, Aug. 7 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Serving as beacons to compassionate, high-quality healthcare, health centers across the United States are recognized during National Health Center Week (Aug. 6-12) to emphasize the importance of health centers in the community and the services they provide to the patients they serve.

This year’s theme “The Road Map to a Stronger America,” focuses on the achievements and vision for Health Centers across the states that provide comprehensive, healthcare services.

Health Center Week is a time to reflect on the achievements of health centers and open the doors for residents to see the services that are available in their local communities.

The health centers provide a range of onsite services – primary care, pediatrics, immunizations, reproductive health, mental health, tuberculosis screening, HIV testing and care, in addition to maternal health services, regardless of insurance status or ability to pay.

San Bernardino County Health Centers are collaborating with SmileSBC, Women Infants and Children (WIC), Animal Care, and others to invite residents and community partners to join us at our Health Center fairs, beginning Monday, Aug. 7 through Thursday, Aug. 10, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
