San Bernardino County Public Works has completed improvements to Wabash Avenue and other roads on approximately 32 miles within the Redlands, Mentone and Yucaipa areas.
The project was funded with Measure I Local Streets Program – San Bernardino Valley Subarea funds and by the City of Redlands.
The Wabash Avenue and Other Roads Project consisted of milling selected streets and applying various resurfacing treatments, namely rubberized hot mixed asphalt, slurry seal, fiber slurry seal, chip seal, leveling course as well as applying new painted striping and pavement markings.
The project aligns with the goals and objectives of the Board of Supervisors to ensure the development of a well-planned, balanced and sustainable county while also supporting the safety, health and social service needs of county residents.
