This week’s San Bernardino County destination is Glen Helen Regional Park in San Bernardino. It offers a variety of recreational opportunities including fishing, swimming, picnicking, hiking, biking, golfing and camping.
The park is home to the Glen Helen Amphitheater, which has hosted world renowned artists ranging from Tina Turner to Van Halen and popular music festivals such as CalJam 18 and 19 and Ozzfest. Another unique feature of the park is the Glen Helen Raceway, which includes four motocross tracks and is open for practice on select days. Track rental information can be found on the web.
Recently, San Bernardino County celebrated the completion of new amenities at Glen Helen Regional Park including a new entrance monument, waterslides, a splashpad, new restrooms and upgraded picnic shelters.
