

San Bernardino County Animal Care and The Paw Mission are showing compassionate care to four-legged friends of veterans and service members this Veterans Day.
This Veterans Day, San Bernardino County Animal Care is partnering with The Paw Mission to provide free spay and neuter services for military personnel, veterans and community members living in unincorporated areas of San Bernardino County. Services are available for eligible Trap, Neuter, Vaccinate, and Return (TNVR) community cats and owned pets.
For community cats, the trapping address must be located within San Bernardino County’s unincorporated service areas. Owned pets must also live in these areas. Each eligible household may receive services for up to four owned pets.
View our service area map to see if your community cat or owned pet qualifies. Locations colored in “blue” on the map are eligible for this program. San Bernardino County Animal Care contract cities are not eligible at this time.
Qualifying community cats will receive:
- Free vaccinations
- Free spay/neuter surgery
- Ear-tipping for TNVR identification
Qualifying owned pets will receive:
- Free rabies vaccines
- Free spay/neuter surgery
This event will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 11, at Sportsman’s Park located at Sportsmans Park, 6171 Sunburst St in Joshua Tree. Registration is now open at thepawmission.org. A $20 refundable deposit is required for each appointment.
