We would like to thank Sleiman Moussa of Rialto for submitting spectacular photos of his favorite San Bernardino County destination to view holiday lights.
If you’re looking for a place to view holiday lights, San Bernardino County has plenty of options. In Big Bear Lake, there are two locations that offer unique experiences for visitors. One of them includes the holiday lights displayed in the village area where you will see a variety of decorated trees. Also, the Big Bear Alpine Zoo is currently hosting an immersive holiday light walk featuring nearly two million solar-powered lights.
Visitors can walk through glowing pathways and themed light zones that celebrate the mountain’s wildlife and natural beauty. Highlights include a 100-foot illuminated pine tree, a two-story golden teddy bear, a walk-through 20-foot ornament, and Santa’s sleigh centerpiece. Guests can also enjoy seasonal treats like hot cocoa and cider from the Moonridge Coffee Company.
San Bernardino County Regional Parks also offers its own holiday lights experience at Cucamonga-Guasti Regional Park in Ontario. Visitors can experience an evening in the park with holiday light displays, free hot cocoa, cider and art & crafts for children. Don’t miss the chance to meet Santa and his elves as they make their stop at Cucamonga-Guasti on Saturday, Dec. 20 and Sunday, Dec. 21, from 6-9 p.m. Night fishing will also be available in the small lake during the event. The hours and dates for the holiday lights at the Big Bear Alpine Zoo and Cucamonga-Guasti Regional Park vary. For more information, visit the websites for the Big Bear Alpine Zoo and San Bernardino County Regional Parks system.
