San Bernardino County Museum is proud to announce it has been named the “Best of the Best” museum in the region by Inland Empire Magazine readers. This prestigious recognition celebrates the museum’s outstanding contributions to cultural enrichment, education and community engagement, solidifying its position as a leading institution in the region.
The “Best of the Best” distinction is awarded annually to organizations that demonstrate exceptional excellence in their field. The honor recognizes the museum’s commitment to providing world-class exhibits, dynamic educational programs and unique cultural experiences that resonate with visitors of all ages.
“We are deeply honored to receive this recognition,” said San Bernardino County Museum Director David Myers. “This award reflects the hard work, passion, and dedication of our entire team as well as the San Bernadino County Board of Supervisors. We are grateful for the support of our community and the opportunity to continue inspiring, educating and connecting people through incredible museum experiences. Our vision is to be the best cultural and natural history museum in the region because that is what the residents of San Bernardino County deserve.”
Since its founding, San Bernardino County Museum has become a cornerstone of the community, offering a diverse range of exhibits that highlight history, art, science and local history. The museum also plays a pivotal role in fostering educational programs, school partnerships and events designed to engage audiences and promote lifelong learning.
The museum’s commitment to accessibility and inclusivity has helped attract a broad and diverse audience, further strengthening its impact on the cultural fabric of the region.
The San Bernardino County Museum is located at 2024 Orange Tree Ln., at the California Street exit from Interstate 10 in Redlands. The museum is open Tuesday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. General admission is $10 (adult), $8 (military or senior), $7 (student), and $5 (child ages 6 to 12). Children five and under are admitted free. Museum members receive a 50% admission discount. Parking is free and the museum is accessible to people with disabilities. The San Bernardino County Museum’s exhibits of regional, cultural and natural history and the Museum’s other exciting events and programs reflect the effort by the Board of Supervisors to achieve the Countywide Vision by celebrating arts, culture and education in the county, creating quality of life for residents and visitors.
