

San Bernardino County is excited to open the application period for the SPARK Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) on Saturday, March 15. This paid summer work experience is designed for youth ages 16-24 to explore career pathways, develop workplace skills, and engage in hands-on learning opportunities. Participants will gain real-world experience, connect with mentors, and build confidence, while earning a fair wage.
SPARK stands for Support, Pathways, Access, Readiness, and Knowledge, reflecting its mission to provide mentorship, career exploration and professional development. The program is open to San Bernardino County residents who are looking for their first job or seeking career opportunities. Participants will have access to skill-building workshops, career guidance, and a certificate of completion to enhance future employment prospects.
Applications open on Saturday, March 15, with limited spots available. Job placement begins in June.
