The Fourth District Reel Reality Fentanyl Awareness Film Contest will be held on April 10.

Lights, camera, action! Get ready for the Reel Reality Fentanyl Awareness Film Contest for the Fourth District, taking place on Thursday, April 10! The Reel Reality Film Contest is a collaboration between Fourth District Supervisor Curt Hagman, Public Health and Behavioral Health, created to amplify the voices of local students and raise awareness about the dangers of fentanyl in our community.

Students from high schools throughout San Bernardino County’s Fourth District will showcase short films created to spread information, share resources and break the stigma surrounding the fentanyl epidemic in our community. An award ceremony and free Narcan training for the community will follow the film presentations.

The red carpet award ceremony will take place on Thursday, April 10, from 6 – 8 p.m. at the Harkins Theater Chino Hills 18 located at 3070 Chino Ave. in Chino.

Student filmmakers, faculty, family members, and the entire community are encouraged to attend, support the voices of our youth, and learn life-saving information. To RSVP for the Fourth District Reel Reality Red Carpet Ceremony, please visit https://www.eventcreate.com/e/reelrealityhagman.

We can’t wait to showcase the incredible, powerful videos submitted for this important event. For any further questions, please email dbh_pio@dbh.sbcounty.gov.
