We are trying something new this year. In addition to submitting photos, we are now inviting readers to share short videos of their favorite San Bernardino County destinations.
San Bernardino County is home to serene mountain ranges, expansive parks and stunning desert landscapes, offering numerous opportunities to capture our county’s natural beauty.
Beyond our most popular landmarks are local favorites that may not be as widely recognized. Therefore, we are looking for high-quality photos and short videos that showcase San Bernardino County’s hidden gems and other scenic locations. Selected submissions will be featured in our weekly County Update newsletter, on our website and shared on our social media pages. Contributors will be given credit for their work.
Video Guidelines
- You must own the video you submit, and it must include a destination within San Bernardino County.
- Video should be in short form (under 60 seconds).
- Accepted format is MP4.
- Video should be shot in vertical format.
- Please do not include music or any graphics (such as a logo) in the video.
- Video may include brief narration to enhance the viewer’s understanding of the destination.
- Text overlays are required to support accessibility.
- Please do not submit videos that have been generated by AI.
- Please do not submit a video that endorses a business as a destination.
- Please identify the destination, include videographer credit, and any other pertinent information about the destination in our submission form.
- By submitting your video to us, you understand that we may use it in the County Update newsletter, on our website and on our social media pages.
Photo Guidelines
- You must own the photos you submit, and they must be destinations within San Bernardino County.
- You must submit at least three photos of the destination. The photos cannot exceed 5MB each and should be in JPG format. The photos must be in full color and have a minimum resolution of 300 dpi.
- Please identify the destination, include photographer credit, and any other pertinent information about the destination in our submission form.
- Please do not submit photos that are heavily edited or created by AI.
- Photos cannot contain people.
- Please do not submit photos that endorse a business as a destination.
- By submitting your photos to us, you understand that we may use them in the County Update newsletter, on our website and on our social media pages.
