Families can welcome the winter holiday season at the San Bernardino County Museum on Saturday, Dec. 5 at Winter Wonderland, a family fun day. Activities, scheduled from noon to 4 p.m., are included with paid museum admission.
“We’ve designed winter-themed crafts and art projects that relate to some of our favorite chilly exhibits,” said Jorge Mora, museum educator. “For example, we’ll be doing a polar bear craft and a reindeer craft that recall our very own polar bear and caribou in our Hall of Mammals. Guests can also look for other arctic species, like our giant brown bear and our beautiful arctic fox.”
Santa Claus will also attend the Winter Wonderland event, so guests of all ages and share their holiday wishes and create their own Santa Selfies.
Winter Wonderland and the County Museum’s other exciting events and exhibits reflect the effort by the Board of Supervisors to achieve the Countywide Vision by celebrating arts, culture, and education in the county, creating quality of life for residents and visitors. Winter Wonderland is supported in part by the San Bernardino County Museum Association.
