San Bernardino County Regional Parks is pleased to announce the successful acquisition of $1 million in federal funding dedicated to enhancing Glen Helen Regional Park. This significant investment, championed by Fifth District Supervisor Joe Baca, Jr., underscores our commitment to improving safety and quality of life for families who frequent our county parks.
The project will focus on critical playground upgrades, including the installation of essential shade structures to safeguard playground equipment. Additionally, we aim to enhance the park’s accessibility, ensuring that all visitors, regardless of ability, can enjoy its amenities.
Congressmember Pete Aguilar’s unwavering support has been instrumental in securing this funding. The county extends its deepest gratitude to Congressman Aguilar for his dedication to the well-being of our county residents.
