San Bernardino County is pleased to announce that George Harding IV, County Animal Care chief, has been elected president of the California Animal Welfare Association (CalAnimals).
CalAnimals is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting excellence in animal care, sheltering, and law enforcement across the state.
They support and represent California’s animal care and control agencies, Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) organizations, humane societies and other animal welfare organizations.
Harding’s presidency is a significant milestone for our community, as his extensive experience and leadership will drive initiatives that enhance animal welfare standards and practices throughout California, benefiting both animals and residents. Harding has served on the CalAnimals Board of Directors since July 2019.
“It is a privilege and honor to be named president of CalAnimals,” Harding stated. “CalAnimals plays a vital role in promoting animal welfare, and I am excited to join forces with an outstanding board of directors to support and advance the mission of animal welfare organizations throughout the state.”
