The Board of Supervisors on Tuesday (June 13) unanimously approved a balanced and fiscally sound County budget for the fiscal year that begins on July 1, making meaningful investments in infrastructure, fighting homelessness, economic development, recreation, disaster relief, customer service, and the County’s ongoing financial security.
“This budget represents continued progress toward addressing the public’s priorities and concerns and enhances the County’s ability to provide the high level of service our residents and investors expect and deserve,” said Board of Supervisors Chair Dawn Rowe.
The budget marks a conservative 2.29 percent increase from the current year’s spending plan.
