Since 1959, the Big Bear Alpine Zoo has remained dedicated to serving the community by rehabilitating injured, orphaned, and imprinted alpine animals.
We offer a safe haven for wildlife that can no longer thrive in their natural habitat. With our newly expanded facility, which is now twice the size of our previous location, we are able to accommodate and provide care for over 85 species of animals and birds.
The Big Bear Alpine Zoo welcomes visitors seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and we offer complimentary parking for our guests. We invite you to join us and experience the wonders of our zoo.
When purchasing your tickets in person, remember to present your AAA card to receive a 10 percent discount or you can purchase your tickets online using the code “AUTO10” to enjoy a 10 percent discount on your visit.
