Upwrap joy at the Happy Pawlidays adoption event

Happy Pawlidays! The Devore and Big Bear Animal Shelters are hosting an adoption event from Dec. 15 – 23.

All pets come spayed/neutered, microchipped, and receive most vaccines. Dogs and cats adopted during our Happy Pawlidays adoption event will go home with a stocking full of goodies, while supplies last.


Big Bear and Devore Animal Shelters seek toy donations for Happy Pawlidays Adoption Event

The Big Bear and Devore Animal Shelters are currently collecting pet toy donations!

The donations will be redistributed to those who adopt a pet during our Happy Pawlidays Adoption Event, Dec. 15-23.

Come to the San Bernardino County Library holiday events and programs

The San Bernardino County Library invites residents to attend their upcoming holiday events. Enjoy an amazing experience of fun-filled crafts, face painting, balloon artists, and games.  
 
 These events are another opportunity to celebrate and support the Countywide Vision’s literacy campaign, Vision2Read. Visitors should bring their library cards, as every 15 items checked out during the events earns visitors a fun incentive and an opportunity drawing ticket for a chance to win awesome prizes. All activities are free and open to all ages.

County Museum partners with County Library to announce Winter Storytime for young readers

Join us for a very special Winter Storytime! The San Bernardino County Museum is partnering with the San Bernardino County Library to bring a variety of weekly storytime sessions on select Tuesdays to visitors that will include live music, winter-themed stories, crafts, and more!
  
Winter Storytime schedule:
Dec. 19, beginning at 11 a.m. to noon
  
Winter Storytime will feature a wide range of winter-themed children’s books. Some of the readings include a visit to a museum gallery where a special activity will highlight an artifact or museum exhibit.
  
The San Bernardino County Museum is located at 2024 Orange Tree Lane in Redlands. General admission is $10 (adult), $8 (military or senior), $7 (student), and $5 (child ages 6 to 12). Museum Foundation members and children five and under are free. The museum is accessible to persons with disabilities and parking is free. For more information, visit museum.sbcounty.gov/events.
