The California Fruit & Vegetable (CF&V) Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) Pilot Project is a healthy incentive program that earns CalFresh participants one incentive dollar for every dollar spent on eligible fruits and vegetables with their EBT at Mother’s Nutritional Centers and Rialto Certified Farmers Market.
Participants can earn up to $60 in incentives per month that are automatically credited back to their EBT card to spend on any CalFresh-eligible food (e.g. more fruits and vegetables, bread, grains, nuts, dairy, meat, etc.) at any retail location that is authorized to accept EBT. The incentives are also transferable across county lines.
The CF&V Pilot Project will increase the purchase and consumption of fresh fruits and vegetables from farmers while providing supplemental benefits for CalFresh participants to afford the foods they need to stay healthy.
You can apply for CalFresh at BenefitsCal.com, at a San Bernardino County Transitional Assistance Department (TAD) office or you can scan the QR code . To find a TAD office near you, visit https://wp.sbcounty.gov/tad/find-an-office/.
