A great message is lost without an audience. The efforts of San Bernardino County’s Graphic Design Team to engage county residents in messaging promoting disaster preparedness, wellness, voting, economic development, preschool education and the opportunities available in America’s largest county claimed six American Advertising Federation (AAF) awards last week.

In recent years the Board of Supervisors has made it a priority to ensure county residents are served by a robust, first-rate public communications operation, including a Graphic Design Team whose work can stand aside top advertising firms representing national brands, as they did in winning six AAF awards.

The San Bernardino County Communications Group received two silver awards for its “State of the County” invitation design and the Preschool Services Annual Report design.  The team also received four bronze awards for the Preparedness Starts Here campaign logo and branding, the Opportunity campaign logo and branding, the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center vehicle wrap design, and the Registrar of Voters Ballotmobile vehicle wrap.

The County Graphics Design Team and the entire County Communications Group will continue to push the boundaries of creativity, explore new ideas and surpass expectations in their efforts to bring county residents meaningful and engaging public information.
