It’s National EMS Week. This week is our chance to say thank you to our amazing Emergency Medical Services (EMS) professionals, with a special shoutout to those who work in San Bernardino County.
This week is dedicated to honoring the contributions of nurses, paramedics, EMTs and many more who form the backbone of the EMS system. This year’s theme is “Honoring Our Past. Forging Our Future.” The theme invites us to reflect on the rich history and evolution of EMS, celebrating the relentless efforts to improve patient care and outcomes over the past 50 years.
Today, EMS professionals are more important than ever, responding to emergencies with speed, skill and empathy. All our county agencies that provide EMS service exemplify this spirit of service, ensuring the safety and well-being of our community. Each call they respond to and each life they touch reaffirms the important role they play in our community. They are always ready to act, providing critical care and comfort during some of life’s most difficult moments.
Thank you to all our EMS professionals. Your tireless efforts, often under the most trying circumstances, make a profound difference in countless lives.
