The Office of Emergency Services (OES) in San Bernardino County has been actively engaging with the community by  participating in outreach events focused on emergency preparedness. Our team is dedicated to promoting safety and supporting our community, and it has been a rewarding experience partnering with our Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) and Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (VOAD) partners as well as local cities and towns.

At our community outreach events, participants of all ages have the opportunity to experience what an earthquake feels like with our Seismic Simulator. We distribute various resources, including rocket books for children and disaster preparedness guides for families. We value the connections we’ve formed with our community and want to ensure that every member feels supported and prepared for any emergency.

Looking ahead, OES will maintain its dedication to the community by participating in several upcoming events including the County Museum’s On the Move: All Things That Go in San Bernardino County, the San Bernardino County Fair, the Public Works Water Conservation event, and more throughout the year. We are committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of our community through proactive engagement and education on emergency preparedness. We look forward to seeing you there!
