This week’s San Bernardino County destination is the Fontana Fire District Museum.
This destination showcases the evolution of fire service in Fontana. Some of the artifacts on display include historic helmets, jackets, a hose cart, a chemical wagon and Fontana’s first fire engine, dating back to 1928. The museum also features Upland’s first fire engine from 1915.
All fire engines were restored by active and retired firefighters from San Bernardino County. We encourage you to visit the Fontana Fire District Museum and explore its collection of historical artifacts located at 16980 Arrow Blvd. in Fontana.
