The San Bernardino County Library is excited to announce that the Newton T. Bass Apple Valley Branch Library has extended its hours to include Fridays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The library hosted an inaugural First Friday Event to celebrate this change and kick off the new hours. This all-day event featured crafts for the community and giveaways. Over the course of the event, customers checked out more than eight hundred books.

“We are thrilled to be able to extend our services to the Apple Valley and High Desert communities with the addition of this extra day of operation,” said San Bernardino County Librarian Melanie Orosco.
