San Bernardino County Child Support Services is committed to providing accessible opportunities for parents to connect with the support they need. Understanding that many parents face scheduling conflicts or other barriers that make visiting during standard business hours difficult, the department is introducing Support Saturday: Let Us Help You.
The first Support Saturday: Let Us Help You event will be held at the Loma Linda office on Saturday, Aug. 16, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Child Support representatives will assist parents with a wide range of services in a welcoming environment during this extended-hours event.
Services offered include:
- Meet one-on-one with Child Support representatives.
- Ask questions and get personalized case information.
- Enroll in child support services on-site.
- Use computers for quick application assistance.
- Receive help with case modifications, including a review to determine if parents qualify and immediate access to the paperwork needed to get started.
Parents can complete the application process in 20 minutes or less with the support of department representatives. By offering these services on a Saturday, Child Support Services seeks to reduce barriers and ensure more parents can engage with and benefit from the services provided.
