Join Southern California Edison and the San Bernardino County Office of Emergency Services as they host a Wildfire Safety Meeting.

During times of low humidity, dry vegetation and high winds, Southern California Edison (SCE) may use Public Safety Power Shutoffs (PSPS) to proactively and temporarily shut off power to keep communities safe and reduce the risk of a fire caused by utility equipment.

Due to the risk of extreme weather facing Southern California, residents may experience longer and more extensive PSPS outages, including in areas that historically have not experienced PSPS.

To help you stay informed and prepared for PSPS, SCE in partnership with San Bernardino County Emergency Services and the Riverside County Emergency Management Department are hosting a virtual live discussion for Inland Empire communities on Thursday, Oct. 2, from 6-7:30 p.m.

Participants will learn about:

• How to prepare for outages
• Available programs and services
• Getting support during an outage
• Identifying cost-saving strategies
• Enhancing emergency preparedness

There will also be an opportunity for questions and feedback. To register, visit the link: tinyurl.com/SCE-WSCM
