We would like to thank Sleiman Moussa of Rialto for submitting spectacular photos that capture the beauty of one of our local parks.
This week’s column focuses on the wildlife at Yucaipa Regional Park, a favorite spot for birdwatching and nature photography. In addition to its natural beauty, the park features three fishing lakes, scenic paths for walking and biking, and open grassy areas used for soccer and disc golf. Visitors will also find tent and RV camping, along with spacious group shelters that can host up to 350 people.
In the summer, the park’s swim complex opens, which offers dual flume water slides and sandy beach surroundings. Other amenities include a playground, picnic tables and barbecue grills. Guests can also participate in activities like horseshoes or rent pedal boats. For more information, visit parks.sbcounty.gov.
