San Bernardino County’s Land Use Services Department will host a community presentation in Devore on May 4 to share the next steps in implementing AB 98. The meeting is part of the county’s effort to keep residents informed as the state’s truck‑route standards move from planning to practice.
AB 98 is designed to guide traffic away from homes, schools and other sensitive areas. During the presentation, county staff will discuss enforcement coordination with the California Highway Patrol and the process for reporting concerns.
The presentation will also cover practical components of the rollout, including installation of required signage, evaluation of potential road improvements and continued education efforts for community members, businesses and truck drivers.
Event details: AB 98 Community Presentation
