Celebrate the 12th annual Clear the Shelters campaign from Aug. 1-31 at the Big Bear and Devore Animal Shelters. Each qualifying adoption includes spaying or neutering, a microchip and age-appropriate vaccinations. To help ease your transition to pet parenthood, MetLife Pet Insurance offers 30 days of complimentary pet insurance.
Special kickoff events will be held at the Big Bear and Devore Animal Shelters on Aug. 8 and Aug. 9 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The events will feature vendors, family-friendly activities, adoptable pets and information about supporting pets in need.
The Animals Are First Fund (ARFF) is sponsoring adoption fees for cats and dogs throughout the month-long campaign. The campaign is also supported by NBC and Telemundo stations across the U.S. and Puerto Rico, which partner with local animal shelters and rescue organizations to help pets find loving homes.
Last year, the campaign helped 474 animals at San Bernardino County’s Devore and Big Bear Animal Shelters find their forever homes. We’re thrilled to see what this year holds! Give a shelter pet a second chance by adopting during the Clear the Shelters campaign. Visit ClearTheShelters.com to learn more and find out how you can participate.
