San Bernardino County Behavioral Health invites the community to review the Behavioral Health Services Act update and provide feedback.

The San Bernardino County Behavioral Health Department is inviting residents, families, providers, community partners and other interested groups to review and comment on the Intermittent Update to its Behavioral Health Services Act (BHSA) Integrated Plan.

Feedback will be accepted through Nov. 9.

The BHSA Integrated Plan guides how the county invests in behavioral health services, housing and supports from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2029. As programs, funding and community needs evolve, the Intermittent Update allows Behavioral Health to make necessary adjustments while giving the public an opportunity to provide input on proposed changes.

The current update includes two new housing development projects that will add 98 units in San Bernardino County, program realignments to better reflect how services are being delivered, and updates to funding allocations.

Community feedback is an important part of the process. Input from residents and partners helps Behavioral Health better understand local priorities, identify questions or concerns, and ensure the plan continues to reflect the needs of communities throughout San Bernardino County.

To review the Intermittent Update and submit comments, visit:

Comment forms are available in English and Spanish. For more information, translation or interpretation services, or disability accommodations, call 800-722-9866 (TTY users dial 7-1-1) or email bhsa@dbh.sbcounty.gov.

The public comment period closes Nov. 9, 2026.

Through BHSA, Behavioral Health continues its work to improve access to behavioral health services and support wellness, recovery and resilience for individuals and families across San Bernardino County.
