

Congratulations to the winners of the San Bernardino County Library’s Love Your Library Bookmark Contest! Pick up a bookmark featuring the winning artwork at any of our 32 branches while supplies last.
The San Bernardino County Library is proud to announce the winners of its 2026 Love Your Library Bookmark Contest, celebrating the creativity, imagination and artistic talent of students from across the county.
Open to students in grades K-12, the contest invited young artists to design original bookmarks inspired by reading and storytelling. This year’s contest received an enthusiastic response from students countywide, with submissions showcasing vibrant artwork, inventive themes and heartfelt messages about the joy of books and literacy.
More than 800 bookmark designs were submitted by students from across San Bernardino County. From those entries, 20 students were selected as winners of the 2026 County Library Love Your Library Bookmark Contest, with four winners representing each of the county’s five supervisorial districts.

Winning designs were selected based on creativity, originality and overall design quality. The selected bookmarks will now be professionally printed and distributed throughout all 32 County Library branches, allowing residents across the region to enjoy and share the students’ artwork.
“The response to this year’s contest was truly inspiring,” said County Library Program Coordinator Elizabeth Williams. “Our students continue to amaze us with their creativity and artistic expression. Each bookmark reflects not only talent but also a genuine love of reading and learning.”
The Love Your Library Bookmark Contest is part of the County Library’s ongoing efforts to encourage literacy, creativity and youth engagement through accessible educational programs and community participation opportunities.
Library staff also expressed appreciation to the teachers, families and schools that encouraged student participation and supported the contest throughout the school year.
Winning students will be recognized by the County Library, and their designs will serve as official library bookmarks throughout the coming year.
