San Bernardino County’s Graphic Design Unit was awarded some of the highest honors in our region from the American Advertising Federation-Inland Empire. The Graphics Design Unit was lauded for the unique and effective way they advertise County departments and programs to the public.
The American Advertising Federation-Inland Empire awarded the Graphic Design Unit the following:
- One Gold Award for the Amazon HQ2 Proposal Package for the Economic Development Agency
- Five Silver Awards for the State of the County campaign, Retail and Development Catalog, By the Numbers Video and Our County Your Opportunity Video – all for the County’s Economic Development Agency; and County Fire’s 2016-17 Annual Report.
- Seven Bronze Awards for the Local to Global Brochure, the Amazon Proposal Booklet, the Elevate Your Game Event, the CatchOur Drift? Video – all for the County’s Economic Development Agency; the 2016-17 Annual Report and Generation Go Logo for the Workforce Development Board; and the Housing Authority’s 2016-17 Annual Report.
The American Advertising Federation-Inland Empire was established in 1905 and is the only organization to include members across all disciplines and career levels in advertising. The federation has established 15 districts across the United States who actively engage in local, district, regional and national competitions to honor the best in advertising.
