Children and Family Services (CFS) staff from regions throughout San Bernardino County wrapped toys for nearly 6,000 foster children this holiday season. The toys were provided by the Childrens Fund and other community agencies that donated to the Childrens Fund. Each region had at least one room filled with toys of all kinds ranging from stuffed animals to soccer balls and board games.
These gifts were chosen by the children’s social workers, who will deliver them to the children before the holidays.
“We are so thankful for all of the donations and generosity of our community making sure each child will have something special to unwrap this holiday season,” said Children and Family Services Director Jeany Zepeda. The CFS staff reminisced about their holiday memories as they wrapped each gift, all sharing their excitement for the foster children and how joyful they are to be participating in this wonderful activity weeks before the holidays.
