Regional Parks is excited to announce that beginning on Saturday, June 29, Cucamonga-Guasti, Glen Helen, Mojave Narrows, Prado and Yucaipa Regional Parks will be open daily until 8 p.m. through the end of October.
After daylight saving time ends in November, the parks will close at sunset through March. Sunset times vary and will be monitored by park staff. In addition, Mojave Narrows Regional Park will be open daily instead of being closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Director of Regional Parks Beahta Davis says, “Keeping the parks open longer will provide everyone with additional opportunities to enjoy outdoor recreational activities at our parks, whether it is fishing, using our picnic shelters and barbecuing, hiking, biking or playing ball with the family, we want to be able to offer these opportunities to our communities after working hours.”
Streamlining parks hours makes it easier for patrons to schedule their visits to our parks Davis added. New park hours are 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. and all parks are pet-friendly.
